Even though we're experiencing a wetter summer than we've seen in nearly ten years - drip systems are the way to grow out here.
Not only does it conserve water in the lean years it deprives weeds of consistent water in the wetter years.
The soil in this garden - except for the holes we bored out and treated for plants - is as dense as concrete - so - no water - no growth - no weeds
